i-Buddie XP supports socket 462 AMD Duron and Athlon XP family processors
from 1.8GHz.
DDR266/PC2100 support: Equipped with one DDR DIMM sockets to support
up to 512MB of DDR SDRAM, the i-Buddie XP can easily handle the
most memory-hungry applications.
Advanced SiS 740 chipset: SiS 740 chipset integrates a high performance
and high quality 3D/2D Graphical Accelerator , Video Accelerator
and Motion compensation MPEG1/MPRll Video decoder. It also integrates
a high performance 2.1GB/s DDR-266 Memory controller to sustain
the bandwidth demand form the integrated GUI, host processor as
well as the multi I/O Masters. Moreover the MuTIOL technology also
provides sufficient bandwidth for connecting with SiS 740 and SiS961.
What is SiS MuTIOL Technology?
SiS MuTIOL technology, the new bus architecture, connects SiS 650
and SiS 961 together, and delivers 533MB/s bandwidth between North
Bridge and South Bridge and even up to 1.2GB/s for South Bridge
internal bus frequency.

The i-Buddie 4 supports four USB 2.0 ports to provide high-speed

To close the i-Buddie 4, just gently push down the LCD cover. The
rim of the cover provides a magnet which can attracts the hidden
latch from the hole located on the edge of the body. When the latch
is attracted, this will hook and lock the LCD cover instantly.
